Meet the Creative Director
Diane Ghioto’s years as a fashion and style editor for Elle Magazine and as a trend reporter and regular contributor for Elle Decor were the basis for a lifelong love affair and appreciation for all aspects of design—from architecture and interiors to lifestyle, art, and entertainment. While living in New York, Diane developed and refined her design skills when she conceptualized, built, owned and operated Isla, a high-style, 75-seat restaurant and bar in NYC’s Greenwich Village. Isla, an homage to 1950s Havana, immediately became a press favorite and a celebrity hotspot for those in the worlds of fashion, art, entertainment, and media. This dream-come-true project also firmly established Diane’s entrepreneurial skills as she gained valuable insights as a successful restaurateur.
It was obvious that real estate and interior styling had been the common thread for Diane all along as she acquired, renovated and flipped a series of apartments and lofts in SoHo for a substantial profit. Through hands-on experience and good market instincts, she became well-versed and familiar with the dynamic New York real estate market.
Diane’s elevated style-consciousness, along with her business acumen have enabled her to become an intuitive and insightful professional. Direct and concise, she is an effective communicator. Creative and innovative, with a keen eye for detail and nuance, she can instinctively zero-in to identify and showcase a home’s best features for maximum impact and market advantage.
As a resident of the East End for over fifteen years, Diane has worked as a style editor and freelance writer for several local publications and is active within her community. She is constantly inspired by the inherent beauty of The Hamptons and currently lives in Sag Harbor with her two fashion-obsessed teenaged daughters.
